1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the OzGuard Garage Doors & Gates website and the supply of all products and services provided by OzGuard Garage Doors & Gates (“OzGuard”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or using our services, you (“the Customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

OzGuard provides garage door and gate related services including but not limited to:
- Garage door installation
- Garage door repairs
- Garage door motor installation and replacement
- Garage door maintenance and servicing
- Gate installation and automation
- Emergency garage door repair services
- Supply of garage door parts and accessories
All services are provided subject to availability and confirmation by OzGuard.
3. Quotes and Acceptance
All quotes issued by OzGuard are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
A quote is considered accepted when:
- The customer confirms acceptance in writing or verbally, or
- A deposit or payment is made, or
- Work is scheduled or commenced.
OzGuard reserves the right to withdraw or revise quotes if site conditions differ from those initially assessed.
4. Deposits and Payments
For certain services or installations, OzGuard may require a deposit before work commences.
Payment terms may include:
- Deposit upon booking
- Progress payment prior to installation
- Final payment upon completion of works
Accepted payment methods may include:
- Bank transfer
- Credit or debit card
- Cash
- Other payment methods specified by OzGuard.
All goods remain the property of OzGuard until full payment has been received.
5. Pricing
Prices may vary depending on:
- Site conditions
- Additional materials required
- Additional labour required
- Changes requested by the customer after quotation
Any additional charges will be discussed with the customer before proceeding where reasonably possible.
6. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
- Ensure safe and clear access to the installation or repair site.
- Remove vehicles and obstacles from the work area prior to service.
- Ensure the site is structurally suitable for installation of the garage door or equipment.
- Provide access to electricity where required.
Additional service charges may apply where delays occur due to site conditions or restricted access.
7. Warranty
OzGuard provides workmanship warranties in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Additionally:
- Manufacturer warranties apply to garage doors, motors, and accessories supplied.
- Warranty periods vary depending on the manufacturer and product type.
- Warranty may be void if damage results from misuse, unauthorised modifications, accidents, or lack of maintenance.
Regular servicing is recommended to maintain product performance and warranty validity.
8. Repairs Warranty
Repair services carried out by OzGuard are generally covered by a 90-day workmanship warranty, unless otherwise stated.
This warranty covers faults directly related to the repair performed.
It does not cover:
- New issues unrelated to the repair
- Wear and tear
- Damage caused by external factors or misuse.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
OzGuard is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services or products.
Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, OzGuard’s liability will be limited to:
- Repairing the goods, or
- Replacing the goods, or
- Re-supplying the services.
10. Emergency and After-Hours Services
Emergency or after-hours services may incur additional fees.
These fees will be disclosed to the customer before work begins whenever possible.
11. Cancellations
Customers may cancel scheduled services with reasonable notice.
OzGuard reserves the right to charge a call-out or cancellation fee if:
- Technicians arrive on site and the job is cancelled, or
- Access to the property is not available.
12. Intellectual Property
All website content including text, images, logos, and branding are the property of OzGuard or its licensors.
No content may be copied or reproduced without written permission.
13. Privacy
OzGuard respects customer privacy.
Personal information collected through the website or during service delivery will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
14. Website Use
Users must not:
